Seth Grizzle, Jon Gentry and Jonathan Junker created a company called Greypants, which creates very attractive lighting fixtures made completely from cardboard boxes. Yes, the picture below is a sample of their lights and these hand made shades are manufactured entirely from cardboard boxes.
According to an article by Rebecca Teagarden titled, “The Domestic Goddess,” this is an example of a ever growing field called “scrapcycling.” This is taking things that one could find in a dumpster and making useful products out of them.
