Mind you this doesn’t include extras such as IPODS, computers, fancy video equipment, art, antiques, collections or jewelry. Also, the cost is higher if you are a person who tends to buy ”name brands clothes and other belongings.”
Babies cost a lot!
WOW! That means that when a person is moving, the average conservative family transports an average of $295,532 PLUS extras. (Extras add up too and are not included) That is a lot of money.
Now applying this same calculator, if you are a family that has a 4 bedroom home with two teenage daughters, your content cost goes up to $336,803. I thought that babies were expensive!
My point being is that people have such a huge investment in their valuables, yet often don’t want to spend a penny on the boxes that they use to transport their belongings inside of. It’s crazy really.
